BOSTONavigator

As Boston's most comprehensive on-line directory of out-of-school time programs, BOSTONavigator lists over 1500 program and almost 900 of them are offered during the summer.  Search for summer programs by age, zip code, or type of activity.  Use keywords to narrow your search and now you can even save or email your results to others.

Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF)

BCYF is urging young people to sign up for one of their many summer programs and activities.  Offering over 50 neighborhood based summer day camps and programs for Boston’s young people, their programs aren’t only a lot of fun; they also keep children’s minds and bodies active over the summer months so they are prepared for the return to school in the fall.  Download their 2010 Summer Guide for a complete listing of BCYF summer programs and activities.

Boston R.O.C.K.S.

Each year, Boston Youth Zone organizes Boston R.O.C.K.S, sharing information and links to summer resources throughout Boston.  The campaign targets outreach efforts to reach young people who will not use traditional methods to find programs and creates new programs to “fill in the blanks.”  These programs are tweaked each summer to ensure providers are reaching as many youth as possible and providing activities they want to participate in.

Boston Public Schools

The Boston Public Schools publishes several guides to summer learning and enrichment activities for students and families. Summer Stuff provides information about programs for middle and high school students, and Summer Stuff Jr. lists activities for elementary school children.
