Boston After School & Beyond is a public-private partnership charged with supporting, strengthening, and expanding Boston's out-of-school time (OST) system. By aligning school and out-of-school efforts, Boston Beyond seeks to advance the development of a unified system of high quality and engaging opportunities that meets the needs of Boston's youth.
We seek to ensure that youth experience the entire day and the entire year as a series of coordinated education and enrichment opportunities, from kindergarten through high school graduation and beyond.
Connecting Communities Policy Symposium
On October 28, 2009, Boston Beyond and the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership hosted key state and city officials, philanthropic leaders, policymakers, researchers and school and youth development professionals to speak with one voice on policy priorities dedicated to serving the whole child, for the whole day, throughout the whole year.
Initiatives and Projects
Boston Beyond initiatives engage community organizations, the Boston Public Schools and other city agencies, local and national foundations, and policy-makers to leverage networks and partnerships that benefit Boston's youth.
